Top 5 ways to make money with your blog

1. Sell advertising and adspace. This is common for all bloggers. Newer bloggers might want to try adsense, or the many other alternatives to it (which can be found on my side bar). For more established blogs you can sell ads directly on your blog, like john cho, problogger, or any of the other top blogs out there. This will normally make me $20 - 50 dollars a day on all my websites.

2. Sell products on your blog. There are lots of affiliate programs that let you sell products for commission. You can check out clickbank, ebay, or amazon affiliate programs. All have worked very well for me on my other blogs. Some days they make me more than $100 dollars.

3. Ask for contributions. You can add a paypal button to your blog. This is usually good for blogs that give good advice. Personal bloggers may want to try this. Some bloggers might have a good reason to ask for donations. One blogger gets donations because he had extremely high hospital bills, but a very big following of people that love his blog.

4. Sell services. Can you make blogger or wordpress themes? Sell them, make custom graphics, offer technical support. If you can do anything that involves an exchange online, you can make money. Some people ask me to make 125 x125 logos for them, and I can sell them for about $10 a piece for something that takes me 15 minutes. 4 in one hour is 40 bucks... Thats good money.

5. Build your list and customer relations. Use your email subscriptions and email them products you might find useful. You can just use clickbank programs, and maybe email them weekly on how the product would help them. This is always a great way to keep in contact with your blog subscribers as well. They appreciate personal attention.
