I just did a guest post on a blog that has 40,000 subscribers. You want to know how hard it was? I got the spot in 2 emails to the blog owner. Alright, simple as that. The implications it had to my blog? Priceless… really. My subscriber rate went up 25%, and page views more than doubled its average. How did I do it? Just those emails, and the blog owner was like: Alright I will put it up next week.
All I did was email him my idea. Pitched a few ideas to him, and he told me which ones he liked. So I picked one, and wrote it. I reviewed it the best I could (it still had some silly typos though), and then I emailed it back to him. Within the day, he told me he would put it up next week. It is so easy to put a guest post up on another blog.
You just need to write good clean content. Write it so the blogger will like it and it is made towards his audience. Make it the best writing you’ve ever done. Honestly, that is the only way you will get attention on other blogs. You have to make it fucking amazing and beautiful, filled with the most informative and original content you can.
So pitch those ideas to big bloggers and see what they say. They may take it!
